48.00

In Switzerland, the Savagnin Blanc grape dates back to its first production in  in 1586 in Haut Valais under the name Heida, a very old appellation translated as Païen (pagan) in Bas Valais, from where this wine hails. Païen is a highly structured, bearing notes of citrus and exotic fruits.  It has a great potential for aging and therefore one shouldn’t be afraid to take a case or two.
